| Just coupler nuts, im not sure how other cars would be but for miata's thats all you need and just sort of space the hood from the hinges. I'm thinking about putting it back to normal it looks cleaner i guess plus i've heard the cooling actually gets fucked up with this particular car when its raised. Something about the air flow from factory works best, but then again lowering the miata also fucks up the airflow for the radiator pretty bad from what i hear too. | |

| Well today the car broke a little. The exhaust manifold to the turbo has a pretty big crack in it between inlets 2 and 3. Seems to be an oil line leaking from the turbo as well. As i get home i find that this is not at all uncommon for greddy kits. I will fix it temporarily but feel like i might want to switch turbo systems completely at some point.
Oh i guess i wont be making the arizona nopi qualifier either. not enough time and i have enough money to fix the car but after that not enough to make it to the qualifier.

| That sucks, I was hoping for as many utah drifters to be in the July event as possible.
Just get another cast manifold and cut it between the runners so it has room to expand/contract, Thats what I did with mine after the fist one warped.

| Instead im just buying a stainless steel replacement unlike the stock greddy cast iron one. The stainless flows better and flexes better and will not crack. I'm not sure if i would have competed at all in the event in july along with anyone else that is getting their license for nopi. Main reason i wanted to do it was the track seemed awesome, but to run in nopi requires way too much, i still enjoy driving my car on the street. They want full cages with nascar style bars, window nets, fire suppression, seat braces, and thats only the beginning the list goes on and on. | |

| the first mani Ihad was stainless and it warped thats why I got a cast, you just may need to find a better brand. And my cast has shorter runners than the tubular SS, it seems like with the cast I get better boost response. | |

| Well reading what people have said about the stainless steel its much better than the cast iron greddy, its the only other option out there and it should last long enough to make it worth it. | |

| cast holds heat better. heat = power
unless the laws of nature have changed, cast is better, just uglier
PS this car looks darker IRL

| Yeah the dark irl is a lot sexier than the dark in the pictures. Almost like a full crimson or blood red.
I dunno the cast iron greddy cracks a lot, and i mean a lot basically everyone who has owned the kit for a miata has experienced it cracking. The stainless steel one built from ETD i cannot find a single negative about it. Those are the only 2 options i have though.

| What i need is something that'll bolt to the turbo off the greddy kit, neither of those will. | |
