I hope this helps.......I checked SCCA rules, here are some of the highlights

1.75, 1.5, 1.25
.120 and .095

this is the diameter of the tubing and thickness that is acceptable

DOM - Drawn Over Mandrel
ERW - Electric Resistance Welded
HREW - Hot Roleed Electric Resistance Welded

this is how the tubing is made, it must be steel no alluminum, DUH!?

6 - 8 Point Roll Cage
bolt-on and weld-in is acceptable
do not go through the fire wall
each point should have feet
at least one side bar on each side
no Cusco

That's what I got so far, let me know if you have any questions. There was a thread that had links to some sites that sold cheap acceptable roll cages. I can't seem to find it, Matt?
